At Embodied Explorations, I offer a range of Somatic Movement Therapies and Humanistic Psychotherapy designed to meet your unique needs. Somatic Movement Therapy is a form of therapy that focuses on how movement, body awareness and physical sensations relate to emotional and psychological wellbeing. Instead of only working through talking, this method helps you notice and change patterns held in your body.
My approach integrates mind and body: by slowly exploring movement and sensations I can help you effectively develop an awareness of the relationship between your body and mind to help release chronic tension and pain, improve your posture and mobility, process emotions connected to body sensations, reduce anxiety and depression and equip you with a map of new self healing tools for your long-term well-being.
